Dopo Laphroaig, anche le distillerie Diageo hanno reso pubblico il programma del festival. Hanno combinato un po' di casino con le prenotazioni.
Ma veniamo ai contenuti, c'è di che leccarsi i baffi. Mitica la cena di Mercoledì sera presso Lagavulin (che fa coppia con quella di Domenica sera a Laphroaig, entrambe le distillerie alla loro "prima"). Sarà poi possibile incontrare Georgie, la nuova giovane distillery manager di Lagavulin che in pochissimi anni si è trasformata da semplice aiutante del whisky shop di Dufftown a manager di una distilleria che è tra le più apprezzate e conosciute al mondo. Che dire, complimenti!

A secret tour of Lagavulin with our skilled operators, followed by nips & nibbles specifically paired with our wonderful whiskies.

Warehouse Demonstration
Saturday 21st May: 11.00, 12.30, 14.00 & 15.30
A behind the scenes look into our bonded warehouse. Starting at reception, accompany Iain and Billy to No.1 warehouse. This is a demonstration of warehousing skills and maturation. Come along and share a dram with our Lagavulin angels.

Masterclass - A woman 'nose' best

Whisky Dinner @ Lagavulin Malt Mill

An exclusive and intimate dinner in our Lagavulin Malt Mill, hosted by our Brand Ambassador Colin Dunn and his team of merry men.
Come, sit and have a meal with them and the team from Islay in outstanding surroundings with a grist of rare whisky, magnificent music and chat.

Come and watch the distillers at work, tending the six copper stills, while one of our guides knowledgably takes you on our magical journey from barley to new make spirit. Followed by a nips and nibbles tasting assisted by our Flavour Map ambassadors.

Untenanted Cask Demonstration
Monday 23rd May: 11:00, 12:30, 14:00 & 15:30
Ever wonder what a cask does on its day off from maturing marvelous spirit? How it recharges its batteries and springs backs to life?
Come along and our Iain McArthur will give you an insightful look into this art and the magic that takes place inside the cask.
This demonstration will be followed by a dram or 2 from our duty paid cask*

Masterclass

Mr. Caol Ila himself (Billy Stichell) presents some of the finest whiskies on the planet.
